Clancy's Pumpkin Patch is a three generation,
family owned business. They have pumpkins of all sizes and shapes. Gourds,
corn stalks, and Indian corn are in abundance. Come see the ghosts in their

Ferry Building Marketplace Harvest Festival
The Ferry Building Marketplace celebrates it’s third annual Harvest Festival
with a range of free events including pumpkin carving, butter churning,
apple pressing, live Blue Grass music, face painting and a Barnyard by the
Bay. On Oct. 28 the central Nave will celebrate Oktoberfest from 4 pm to 8
pm with regional breweries Anchor Steam and Boont Ale from the Anderson
Valley Brewing Company. Throughout the weekend Marketplace merchants will be
offering a delightful abundance of special fare, tastings, and
demonstrations. On Oct. 30, along the Embarcadero, the Ferry Building will
host a Barnyard by the Bay petting zoo, face painting, Blue Grass music and
a Farmers Market.

Halloween Mousetraps
It's the life size game of Mousetrap, a crafted, 16 piece, 50,000 -lb
kinetic sculpture set atop a 6,500 square foot game board. The sculpture is
based on and closely parallels the popular children's' board game Mousetrap.
This giant contraption comes with a vaudevillian, burlesque dripping show
complete with an original musical score performed by one woman band
Esmerelda Strange, Can Can Dancers, acrobatic hijinks, and other
spectacularly scripted scenarios dedicated to the pursuit of spectacle laden
fun! Friday bands lineup is La Plebe, Fuga, and Corpus Callosum. Saturday
bands lineup is Velvet Fury, Rum and Rebellion, and Toshio Hirano.

Shock It To Me! Revenge of Creature Features
The Castro Theatre is hosting Shock It To Me! Revenge Of Creature Features,
a three-day Classic Horror Movie Festival celebrating the Cinema
Spooktaculars and TV Horror Hosts of the "good old days", and featuring
local horror hosts Mr. Lobo, Doktor Goulfinger and the lovely Ms. Monster.
The event will also present a tribute to the renowned Bay Area “Creature
Features” television show, featuring guest appearances by its legendary
hosts, Bob Wilkins and John Stanley. Actor Russ Tamblyn ("Twin Peaks", "War
of the Gargantuas") will be attending and co-hosting Sunday night's
presentation of "Curse of the Demon" (1957) and "The Haunting" (1960). The
movie line up of 12 fright flicks includes 35mm prints of classic titles
such as “The Revenge Of Frankenstein” (1958), “The Vampire Lovers” (1970),
“The Horror Of Party Beach” (1964), “Nightmare In Blood” (1976), “The
Fearless Vampire Killers” (1967), “The Abominable Dr. Phibes” (1971), and
more! Shock It To Me will include Madame Maraschino's Grotesque Burlesque, a
costume contest, and ghoulish giveaways.

'Till Dawn Scary Story Party
The Rolling Darkness Revue, a traveling fraternity of some of horror
fiction's premier talents, delivers thrills and chills in celebration of the
genre's favorite holiday. As if that wasn't enough, it has become a
Halloween tradition at Borderlands Books to gather everyone together and try
to scare the pants off of each other with ghost and scary stories. The
festivities begin at dusk and end at dawn the next day. Anyone can volunteer
to read from one of their favorite (published) ghost or horror stories or
opt to just sit back and enjoy the show as others share from their own
selections. Sign-ups begin at dusk. Snacks and beverages will be provided by
Borderlands Books.

Pier 39 Pumpkin Pandemonium
Ghoulish and giddy behavior is part of the fun as kids in costume trick or
