IPTC INFO
CaptionTraveling Festival The Human Rights Watch Film Festival bears witness to human rights violations and creates a forum for courageous individuals on both sides of the lens to empower audiences with the knowledge that personal commitment can make a difference. The film festival brings to life human rights abuses through storytelling in a way that challenges each individual to empathize and demand justice for all people. Each year highlights from our London and New York festivals are presented in our Traveling Film Festival. The 2011-2012 season of the Traveling Festival begins in September 2011 and runs through May 2012. Please note that the traveling festival is only available in the US and Canada at this time.______________ Better This World Filmmakers: Katie Galloway and Kelly Duane de la Vega Year: 2011 / 93 --- -_- --- Granito: How to Nail a Dictator Filmmakers: Pamela Yates Peter Kinoy and Paco de Onis Year: 2010 / 100m --- -_- --- The Green Wave Filmmakers: Ali Samadi Ahadi Year: 2010 / 80m --- -_- --- If a Tree Falls Filmmakers: Marshall Curry director and Sam Cullman co-director Year: 2011 / 85m --- -_- --- Impunity Filmmakers: Juan José Lozano and Hollman Morris Year: 2010 / 85m --- -_- --- Love Crimes of Kabul Filmmakers: Tanaz Eshaghian Year: 2010 / 71m --- -_- --- The Price of Sex Filmmakers: Mimi Chakarova Year: 2010 / 73m --- -_- --- This is My Land Hebron Filmmakers: Giulia Amati and Stephen Natanson Year: 2010 / 75m --- -_- --- When the Mountains Tremble Filmmakers: Directed by Pamela Yates and Newton Thomas Sigel Produced and Edited by Peter Kinoy Year: 1985 / 83m --- -_- --- You Don't Like the Truth - 4 Days Inside Guantanamo Filmmakers: Luc Côté and Patricio Henríquez Year: 2010 / 99m _________________ Yerba Buena Center for the Arts 701 Mission Street at 3rd Street San Francisco CA 94103-3138 415 978 2787 www.ybca.org
