| IPTC INFO | | Caption | In tribute to Carlos Lezama - The Costume Bands presents - Kings and Queens Go Forth at 9:30am - featuring all thekings and queens led by the winners as they parade without their respective bands coming from the Brooklyn Museum direction to join their Bands at Utica Avenue. The organization is asking all spectators who love the fantastic and colorful creations to come out early to witness the pageantry. This entourage turns around with their bands after the Grand Marshals and Mayor Bloomberg cut a ribbon at 11am at Utica Avenueto start the parade immediately after a private event for sponsors and grand marshals. A number of college scholarships will also be presented amid speeches by top politicians in a highly charged event- the most sought after - as regular folks vie to rub shoulders with the VIP'S.
