| IPTC INFO | | Caption | THE OVERALL THEME REPRESENTS THE PASSING OF THE SEASONS. The Green Man is born in Spring. He impregnates the females and fertilises the ground so that the earth is fruitful. He then nurtures the flowering of Summer and the fruitfulness of Autumn. In Winter he dies only to be reborn the following Spring to repeat nature's great cycle. _____________ Formed by a nucleus of 12 musicians in January 1984 the London School of Samba was the first Samba School in the UK. The school is run by a committee who are elected for a two year period at the Annual General Meeting held in November. There is always a need for help in organization transport etc. especially in the run up to the Notting Hill Carnival. ___________________ We welcome new members to our ranks - the LSS holds open access dance and percussion workshops in Waterloo every Sunday. Please see the workshop page for more information. | | Headline | "THE GREEN MAN" ---Rainha da baterķa: Ella Peck | | Copyright Notice | londonschoolofsamba.co.uk | | URL | http://www.londonschoolofsamba.co.uk |
